Herat Tribal Weaving (herat.com): Herat Ltd. specializes mainly in Baluch, Afshar and South Persian Rugs and carpets. Their Web site has an online catalog offering a selection of their current inventory. The company, based in Miami, Florida, is owned by Edward Koch, whose first interest and Baluch tribal fabrics southern Persia (especially those of Afshari) extended to the Turkish village rugs and some of the more primitive tissue of non-Turkmenistan, Central Asia.
