Perhaps one of the finest carpets ever made, it is a Tabriz rug and defines the legends and history, with the sensitivity of the Persian world. Tabriz carpets are the second most largest city in Iran found in the Persian province of Azerbaijan in the north-west. This ancient city has a turbulent history, dating from pre-existing documents, because it was a flourishing oasis when it was mentioned in a written document.
In spite of wars, invasions and occupations that have lived, people of the city has managed to craft carpet prosper in trade, with only one period in the 19th century, when business declined. Business development and Tabriz rugs history has been dominated by families with one and sometimes dynasties. During the Safavid Dynasty (1499-1722), the city has regained its economic and cultural point of art, when the members of this dynasty founded workshops and improved trade relations, which Tabriz, one of the artistic centers of Iran, Tabriz is now a leading producer of high quality Persian rugs, if not the most prolific of all.
But why is a Tabriz rug so special? In addition to high quality, these carpets are the weaver exceptional skills in the arts, which have shown that have been transmitted from generation to generation. They are made entirely by hand and generally colored with natural dyes, although some rugs made after 1945 may be synthetically dyed and may be less KPSI.

The diversity is immense, however, some models are rare and can be found in private collections or family assets.
