The Persian cat is the most popular breed of cat. Almost everyone recognizes the distinctive look of a round face – Persian, flat nose, large eyes, small sturdy legs and ears – of course – the beautiful long hair.

If you are thinking of adopting a Persian cat, you should keep in mind if the race is good for you. This article goes through the advantages and disadvantages of owning this breed.

Advantages

• Quietly pleasant mood
• Adapting to change – to cope will be even with the changes, additions to the family, new pets, etc.
• Good with other animals such as dogs
• Good with children
• Tender Loving
• Playful and confident, but not too noisy
• Not too vocal – have quietly melodic
• In general, happy to live as indoor cats

Disadvantages:

• Long hair needs in almost every day to prevent matting
• occasional bath usually necessary to keep skin in top condition
• Eyes subject to excessive irrigation, which generally need to be cleaned on a daily. You may also need to be cleaned regularly with a special liquid dark spots may occur
• flat face may sometimes cause blockages nostrils and therefore respiratory problems
• It may be necessary sometimes cut hair or even knots shaved areas on the body if it is heavy carpet
• You may need the occasional help of hygiene, especially if they have diarrhea because it can be difficult for them to wash their hair long or
• Persians require a careful man and therefore not suitable any person can not spend time with them every day
• These cats do not like being alone for long periods of time. If you are outside during the day, it's better if another animal life with you also provide the company when you do are not

As long as you have the time and inclination, many of the disadvantages listed here are not really negative. Most owners Persian cats get a great pleasure to take care to spend time with their pets. If you want a charming cat who needs a bit of humor more attention than most other breeds, the Persian would be the best choice for you.
