Mostly I just want to concentrate on my living room. my walls are a bit off-white, but I want to paint. I can paint i neutral colors that go with the main color of my living room, Burgundy? I burgundy curtains, carpets, and many works of art is burgundy. I like the burgundy. I want a bit of a tropical jungle feel to my apartment, but modern. I got a budget, what can I do for less than $ 200? i wana still maintain works of art. My sofas are great, but comftorable. very old and beat, but comfortable! I really want to cut, or something smaller. and a new coffee table. What should I do? My apartment looks like just "cute". How can I do "red"?

Rug Burgundy
I have real blue room walls set w / white. A brown leather couch and red shag carpet crash?
My walls are royal blue with white trim. We have a light colored wood floor and were thinking about getting a dark brown leather sofa with nailhead trim. Also I'm looking at a red carpet to throw down in the mix. It is a brilliant bright red, but not burgundy. I was thinking about bringing these three colors together, but do not know if you crash. If not, where do I start with the curtains? Solids, stripes, dots? I love you curtains and my husband wants more than one item of cabin, but I'm not sure it will work with this color scheme. Any help is appreciated.
The brown sofa would be nice, would not the red carpet. I think the blue and red together would conflict.
