Was like a giant carpet is the carpet pile than normal and I do not find something like that. A million thanks! (The carpet was in the apartment I used to rent, the picture is my dog Benji later.)

How do you clean an old wool carpet area?

I bought an old wool with floral patterns, area rugs battery (approx. 8 'x 10 ') at an auction. It is necessary to clean and is not a professional cleaner in my area. "I can clean with a traditional steam cleaning with cold water? If so, What about the beater bar? Do I need to diconnect so no wool fuzz? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I am a carpet cleaner for and have been in business for 10 years, do not take the wool carpet to the laundry mat and do not use the steam cleaner in operation. Wool is a very delicate fiber so they can be easily damaged. I would definitely see if any type of professional carpet cleaner who will come to pick up from your home. If your carpet is not expencive but you may be able to get by simply using the steam cleaner without beater bar and just water, but it is expencive how just go to do a favor.
