Béjar Hafteh torshi recipe?
(Bihar torshi Hafteh) is a Persian pickle composed of seven different types of things, I gotta know what??
Turnips in Vinegar Ingredients: 2 pounds small white turnips few leaves of celery 2-4 cloves garlic 1 raw beetroot, peeled and chopped slices or pieces of average size of 4-5 tablespoons salt 1-1/2 liters of water 1 / 2 liter of white wine vinegar Preparation: Select small turnips white. Peel and wash and cut into halves or quarters, depending on their size. Pack the pieces into a clean glass jar with celery leaves and garlic, if loved by placing slices of raw beet between layers at regular intervals. salt dissolve in water and add vinegar. Cover vegetables with this solution and seal the jar tightly with a glass lid, if possible. Keep in a warm place. The turnips should be flexible and ready in about 10 days. Then transfer the pot in a cool place. The brine must be consumed within one month to six weeks of decisions.

Persian chefs! Torshi storage?
I just made 3 jars of mango-e Bijar torshi. For the next couple of weeks, I can keep in the refrigerator, or simply keep it in a cool dark place? Or does it matter? Merci.
Hello fellow Persian! I can not believe I found a question torshi here! Haha! Therefore, you should store in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. But if you go, sir torshie ', then put it in a cool, dark … do not need a fridge. At home, keep it in the garage. But do not worry, does not produce strong odors, unless you open it. Good luck and have fun! Yummmy!
