Persian rugs can be classified into Persian City Rugs and Persian tribal rugs. Each type within these two is normally the name of the city or tribal name that is manufactured designed. These are some of the most popular Persian blankets (mats first four coming in the city of Persian)

Afshar Rugs: These are smaller Carpet typically designed with geometric motifs.
