Baroda: a city of palaces

Baroda is now known as Vadodara. It is the city of palaces and home to leaders more powerful dynastic.

Baroda is a medium-sized cultural capital of Gujarat in India. It is situated on the banks of the river Vishwamitri. Now, go with a new name, Vadodara, which means "city of banyan trees. It is a small town called Antottaka the 19th century.

Mughals came to the territory. Ruled Gaekwads in 1949. Sir Sayajirao, Vadodara developed a popular king. The old ruling dynasties of the great leaders still have significant and enduring the city today. Here is the series of palaces built under the Gaekwad dynasty.

Laxmi Villas Palace

Laxmi Villas has been manufactured during 1878-1890 by Maharaya Sayaji Rao III. It is one of the popular monuments and palaces Grand Vader. It is also the royal residence in the heart of the city. It was designed by British architect Major Mant and Chisolm. An architecture style Indo-Sarcenic has been used to structure the entire building.
