How I can dye an Oriental rug?
I have a rug in beige and ivory and light green with blue details. Does not match my decor which is neon pink, bright green and gold. How I can remove or blue dye out pieces of carpet? What about bleach?

In cold water, bleach the carpet. — It may take two attempts using the largest machine possible try a cup of detergent and one cup of bleach, and see what happens. If you get the desired color, or lighten it enough, then can be stained immediately (For a more dark, of course.) Otherwise, double or triple the bleach, without detergent, and run it again. You can put extra chlorine in the compartment where the softener is cloth, and bleach, again in the rinse cycle. Once the dye, as the next person courteousy run through a cycle with detergent, empty. Or you can do one load, age, dark clothing, like blue jeans. To dry, place on a flat surface, turning from time to time, and avoid direct sunlight sun, is ideal in the shade on a hot day, breezy. If inside, it dries in an old sheet on a carpet, with a fan pointed out that, again, turning every hour or two. — Good luck Brian
