Iranian, I can never know whether I am or Persian or Arabic might have Greek blood in me?
I was born in Isfahan.
Genetically Iran / Persian composed of a number of different types of DNA in the world: As http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Y-Haplogroups-1500AD-World-Map.png the link above indicates, the Middle East and Central Asia has a lot of different haplogroups because of its central location. The Middle East is ideally located between Asia and Europe, which means that many people in these two regions meet in the Middle East. Business travel, wars, travelers, etc. have all contributed to give people in the Middle East (and we therefore also Persian) DNA very different. Talk about a race pure just in the Middle East is a joke. What holds us together is our common language Iranian history and culture, no DNA.
