colored carpet in the living room?
I try to find a carpet of my living room designed in what might be called Modern casual (No flowers or Persian). The room has white walls (flat), so small loveseat sofa and armchairs and gilded leather burgundy accents. Side tables and coffee table are finished in black, and the wall art is mainly black or dark brown with accents of Burgundy. Many plants, too, who brought green room. But there is a wall tannish to wall, and while the room was a black male, that, in general, for any reason is also a feeling somewhat monochromatic. Perhaps that is my tendency to solid colors. So I'm looking now to increase the brightness and force things a little on the ground without too garish. I found a lot of carpet colors and designs that I like, but I can not say what would work best in this room. I am waiting for something side lighter, I think, to make the black pop, but also help to harmonize with the gold and burgandies.
