Types of Persian carpets

Persian rugs can be classified into Persian City Rugs and Persian tribal rugs. Each type within these two is normally the name of city or the name of tribes that are manufactured and designed. These are some of the most popular Persian blankets (mats first four coming in the city of Persian)

Afshar Rugs: These are usually designed rugs with geometric motifs.
