Christmas in Paris for the table theme holiday decor

Table Christmas holiday table decoration DIY, Do it yourself.

Miy project creation and photo: Madeleine M Langlois

My "Christmas in Paris" theme is based on a mixture composition of old and new. table my grandmother was always with porcelain and antique silver. Oil paintings, painted by my grandfather, adorned walls. Your holiday decoration was made of elegant satin ribbons, shiny crystals, and an excellent Christmas tree decorated with white ornaments, but a deletion of a few. Put the cards, Christmas cookies and a piece custom coordinated whole. She the habit of greenery and fresh flowers to decorate your home.

Even thecolour palette I chose was nostalgic, a combination of turquoise, bright accents in the middle of the green and blue pastel similar tones of silver, angelic whites and chocolate brown. As a child, these unusual combinations Christmas colors made a big impression me. My table this year is a tribute to my grandmother, who is now 98 Years Old. One could say that the influences of style with traditions are transmitted from generation to generation. With this specific concept in mind, the picture I chose a dining room cream colored, fixed by Tommy Bahama. This set was very close to the image, form and style to create the look he wanted. Although this set is intended for planting Bahamas is much more fashionable, it worked very well for my purpose.

Riders patterned square table Iridescent taffeta color blocks are bright emerald green, turquoise, deep blue waters rich. The central panel is a runner organza aqua pastel. Riders are all decorated with luxurious satin borders. The water main is a simple skirt in a rich coffee color. It is bordered by a colorful set of fun fiber wool.

To put in place for four, I chose the Platinum collection by Noritake Rochelle – fine white porcelain, decorated with exquisite texture silver border crossing points. I moved pictures of the Eiffel Tower in shades of blue, the center plates clear. Use a transparent plate allows the image to highlight the bright white porcelain.

Depending on the locale, silver tray sitting pretty with flat edges molded. The glasses are from the collection of Vera Wang Grossgrain. Very small, white dots and the thin dotted line boundaries of well-formed crystals. Glass water, converted single vessels (collected in a garage sale) with turquoise and green stripes with glass paintings.

I wanted an elegant centerpiece, but with a touch of fun. I used a bake sale in a square glass beads and filled with assorted green balls and silver and put a candle in the center pillar. To decorate the cabin and I used fresh green buffet, provided by Westmont Flores to make arrangements with elegance. branches of eucalyptus, pine and willow branches, the Queen Anne's lace and silver accents Ornitogalums refined with angel hair. The vases are accentuated the pattern of squares of marble, a mixture of varying tones of blue and green.

Jewelry crystal chandeliers with a strip of glass beads, which repeated throughout the topic. Holders of tea candles with a flounce of white feathers. Two frosted glass votive lamps are adorned transparent beads in the shapes of the Eiffel tower. I renovated an old chandelier to coordinate with the adjustment. It was painted silver, added fine details such as fringes of beads Fantasy fuzzy wool white and silver, covered with beads, ribbons, luxury jewelry and glass pendant (from recycling other objects.) I created a mini art gallery includes mostly pictures with a variety of artistic mediums such as painting of

Eiffel Tower, illuminated by tiny lights of rice. Panoramic images are photo montages made in Paris on canvas covered with rice paper pattern. Two tables were covered with textured wallpaper, surrounded by satin ribbons. My teenage son Spencer has contributed to the gallery with a mini sample Graffiti in Paris with oil pastels on canvas.

For more details to finish behind the chairs have been decorated with a blue satin ribbon, a tassel of pearls and a pine branch surrounded by a swirl of silver wire accent. I asked for photos of family self-hardening clay to create a tree advent calendar and attaches to a tree table with white feathers. A feather focal Crown square of a large round mirror.

The Christmas tree: A tree-shaped Eiffel Tower made of willow branches gracefully is adorned with a boa fluffy white feathers. beads of glass and paper decorations are decorated with feathers, crystals, pearls and a simple wreath sequences.I using a spiral of silver wire, a few pine boughs, holly silver shapes made with aluminum foil and a silver wire to spell the word Christmas. I did a mini Eiffel Torres thread for card holders instead. False chocolates are made with clay.

Donations have been wrapped in the only form of chocolates, and using a variety of documents flying handbags, photographs, fabrics and ribbons left by elements created for this topic. monograms of wire, old labels, and skin also incorporated into some fun beautiful envelopes. Handmade personalized greeting cards Thanks for the materials were similar, and as beads, silver foil designs, fuzzy wool, shrink film and sequins. There is much more to describe a journey from the ferry memories of Paris, a cake candle, cap, a luxury image to launch, and more.

The decorations that I created for my table the subject, but seem very well prepared, can easily be recreated with a bit of craft supplies available in the arts and crafts and fabric stores and many vestiges of different around your house. Make your holiday special, customize it!

Where can I find the reproduction of the Mission / Arts & Crafts / linen fabric or craft?

Google does not help me this question – Maybe you can? I am trying to find Mission / Arts & Crafts / etc tablecloths, table runners, quilts, reproduction, etc., not actual antiques. I have not found anything on the Internet that fits this description, with the exception of sites selling lace and fabrics New New (eighty dollars per meter, I might add)! Thank you in advance for your help!

What style of fabric you're looking for? Rep. William Morris fabrics are quite frequent, but usually very expensive. However, hand-woven "fabric care are generally quite reasonable, although you might need to sort a lot of sample books to find things you like. Antique Runner
Former bakery box I'm using as a coffee table? What was it?

I went to my father the other day and asked if I wanted a box. Thinking that meant a cardboard box, immediately refused until I saw this box open. It's a wooden box with metal ornaments that I simply uncovered put it upside down and put a table runner on, and done in my coffee table. On the side of the box, the words Spaulding Bakeries Hazelton, PA. is printed there. I live within 15-20 miles of Hazleton, PA, but spelled differently, so I'm not sure if the spelling of the city was different .. but there is in Hazelton PA .. is correct Hazleton endorsement. If anyone has any answers about this interesting bakery box that I acquired all knowledge is greatly appreciated. And if the photos are requested, I will be happy to send an e-mail. Thank you.
