The importance of Persian carpets in history
The Persian Empire, also known as the Achaemenid Empire, distributed in parts of Asia, Africa and Europe. At its height the Persian Empire was the largest empire in history. We know that are about 550-330 BC, the Persian empire is credited with the creation of many works culturally rich in art, including former Persian rugs. Historically, Persian rugs weavers simple rich artists, creating an ongoing business income for the region.
Zoroasterian during the period around the fifth century BC, wool and silk woven Persian carpets have become popular among the rulers and the nobility. But antique carpets Persians also have historical significance for religious reasons. In the 8th century saw the emergence of Islam, and Persian carpets were harnessed further. While the courts have preferred room size carpet, the practice of Islamic rugs need more portable for use as a prayer mat. During this part of the history of Persian carpets, carpet designs began to integrate design elements from different regions. Moving vines, medallions, figures and drawings have been particularly frequent. Figurative drawings were popular among the people of Islamic lands below. This preference has not changed much, and Persian rugs are more figurative designs in Iran exported elsewhere.
Main and weaving methods are still prevailing in the creation of Persian carpets but production is more mechanized and less expensive than carpet does not create the hand. However, the hand of fabrics developed differently in different regions of Persia, and many people still transmit this knowledge to their children as a means of preserving historical culture. It is generally accepted that Modern Persian carpets are not as strong as the old Persian carpets, but most of the weaving process at hand are the same as used for thousands years. The change in quality is judged to be related to the quality available raw materials. If sheep have special arose after the production of wool for use in the carpet, that the practice is rare in modern times.

medallion is in the form of a star with three stones in it, a hand holding a heart, a skull and crossbones, a beehive and one eye.
